GBAOMA has always tried to stay on top of landlord issues both local and statewide. If an issue is happening in our state, it may be happening in the Bangor area next. GBAOMA knows the issues and tries to be available to provide information to any member on such issues as new laws, lead paint, radon, efficiency, tenant service animals, tenant abandonment, tenants passing away in your unit and even police issues. If we don’t have the answer, we will get the answer for you. If you become a GBAOMA member, you will have access to all this information on our website and in the GBAOMA monthly newsletter.

Any property owner interested in learning about issues that affect them or those that may value the many merchant discounts that come along with being a GBAOMA member must sign up! I’ve just recently signed up, and the information I have learned in this short time has helped me tremendously in planning for the future of my properties and tenants. I even won a free heat pump and installation at the last member meeting!

I am so thankful for GBAOMA. I use the website for all my landlord/tenant legal forms and other related documents. I can usually find the answer to any question or concern that I have. If I don’t find the answer on the website, I go to a meeting and ask. Members at a GBAOMA meeting are very helpful and friendly.

The fuel and gas discount is definitely a great benefit of being a GBAOMA member, but that’s just one of many. I love the GBAOMA website. It is a full package. You can find almost everything you could ever need as a landlord.

GBAOMA is a valuable asset to both new and seasoned landlords. For me, their leases and other legal documents were very helpful when starting out. Their online eviction database is great when selecting potential tenants. The monthly meetings are a great opportunity to network with fellow landlords. Highly recommend!
